Cyndi Lauper Welcomes Joni Mitchell, Cher, SZA & More At Goodbye Scenic Tour Ending

Cyndi Lauper’s Women Simply Wan na Have A Good Time Farewell Scenic tour wrapped up with a last performance on Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. An excellent variety of unique guests helped Lauper stress her live efficiency job, with the ending featuring appearances by Joni Mitchell , Cher , SZA , John Legend , Trombone Shorty and Jake Wesley Rogers

Trombone Shorty was onstage extensively with Lauper at the Hollywood Dish, including including his horn to the New Orleans favored “Iko Iko,” which has been a staple of the trip’s setlists. The trombonist performed with Lauper on Friday evening at the Hollywood Dish too. That show also saw Mickey Guyton and Angélique Kidjo sing together with Lauper.

Fabulous singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell was beside share the phase with Lauper. The 81 -year-old, that Lauper called her “hero,” sat alongside Lauper– who played a ripped– for a rendition of “Carey” from Mitchell’s spots 1971 cd, Blue
