Official discovering is a humbling thing.

As organizers, developers, executors, and general caretakers of public and personal education systems, we are charged with the insurmountable: get rid of a child’s natural propensity to play, rebel, and self-direct in hopes of providing them with a ‘excellent education and learning.’ Reading, writing, arithmetic, etc.

The internet result can be a learning climate where spontaneity, curiosity, and learner self-direction are secondary to simply the best ‘research-based’ proficiency approach to ‘relocate kids to efficiency’– and a critical loss of ‘childlishness’ of discovering.
